About Nucleic Lyrics

Nucleic Lyrics is a web app for musicians, bands, and worship and choir leaders who perform live. It does three things well: it keeps your lyrics and set-lists organised, it runs them as a hands-free teleprompter on stage, and it gives every show a public page your audience can open by scanning a QR code.

It runs entirely in the browser at https://nucleiclyrics.com — there is nothing to install, and it works the same on a laptop propped on an amp, a tablet on a mic stand, or a phone in your pocket. Your library follows your account, so the set-list you built at home is on stage with you an hour later.

Every performing musician has lived the same small disasters: a lyric sheet that blows off the stand, a phone that dims to black mid-verse, a set-list scribbled on a napkin that no one else in the band can read. The tools that existed were either a plain notes app with no sense of a stage, or heavyweight software built for a studio, not a Tuesday-night gig.

We wanted something made for the moment of performance — large, legible text that scrolls at the speed you sing, a screen that stays awake, a way to move between songs without breaking eye contact with the room, and a set-list the whole band shares. And we wanted the audience to be part of it, not just watching: a public show page where fans can follow the words, request a song, and leave a moment behind.

The app is built around how a real performance actually runs:

• Lyrics library — write, import, and organise your songs, with per-song font size, alignment, and scroll speed that the reader remembers.
• Teleprompter reader — a full-screen, distraction-free reader with auto-scroll, tap-tempo, a focus mode, swipe-between-songs, and a screen that stays awake while you play. If a song is linked to a YouTube video, you can play the track as audio behind your lyrics.
• Set-lists — build the running order for a show, share it across the band, and step through it song by song.
• Public show pages — publish a show to a QR-code page your audience opens on their phones to follow the lyrics, request songs, vote, and share photos and short clips, all reviewed by you before anything appears.
• Vocal tools — a real-time tuner and guided vocal warm-ups for the minutes before you go on.

Nucleic Lyrics is built and run by Nucleus, a small independent software studio based in Türkiye. We build the whole product ourselves — the app, the infrastructure, and the support behind it — and we use it to run real shows, which is the fastest way we know to find what is missing.

Payments for paid plans are handled by Polar as our Merchant of Record, so your billing is processed securely by an established provider. Everything else — your account, your songs, your shows — is ours to look after, and we take that seriously.

Legibility over decoration. On a dark stage, being able to read the next line matters more than anything clever. Every design choice starts there.

Your work is yours. Your lyrics and set-lists belong to you; you decide what stays private and what you publish to an audience. We explain exactly what we collect and why in our Privacy Policy, and we keep it in plain language.
